Electronics Assembly Technician
The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electronics Assembly Technician to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing and calibrating high-performance sensor products. Your work will directly support the delivery of reliable, real-time measurement solutions that enable performance optimisation and predictive maintenance across a range of demanding applications.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of two A-levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications in Maths, Physics or Design & Technology. BTEC Level 3 also accepted
Salary:
£24,500 per annum

Key Responsibilities
- Operate mechanical equipment to perform adjustments to aid assembly
- Assemble and test sensor wiring assemblies to meet high quality standards
- Operate calibration equipment to configure sensors for specific applications
- Perform basic circuit testing to verify functionality and performance
- Configure and calibrate sensors for fuel, oil, coolant and water level monitoring
- Conduct environmental testing to ensure sensor reliability in harsh conditions
A typical working week would include:
- Soldering
- Wiring
- Potting (encapsulation)
- Electronics testing
- Sensor configuration using PC softwares
- Sensor calibration using PC software and electrical test equipment
- Precision mechanical assembly
- Use of precision hand tools
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of two A-levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications in Maths, Physics or Design & Technology. BTEC Level 3 also accepted
- Comfortable using PCs and Office 365, with strong general IT skills
- Previous experience in electronics assembly is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- A genuine interest in technology and motorsport is highly valued
