The Role

You will be responsible for developing new sensor technologies and ensuring that prototype sensor designs transition from a customer’s R&D project into a controlled production environment. This involves working closely with the application engineering team to produce a prototype sensor design, benchmarking its performance, and producing the technical drawings required for handover to the production team. Most of our end customers are Formula 1 teams, so a general interest in Formula 1 is highly advantageous! The role requires a multi-disciplined engineer. If you have key strengths in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Software Engineering and are looking to develop them further, this role is perfectly suited to you.

An interest in motorsport is advantageous along with a general passion for technology.

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and expand your knowledge base
  • Possess a good understanding of elementary science/physics/maths principals
  • Passionate about technology and excited by the prospect of playing an important role in new sensor developments
  • Basic interest/knowledge of sensors and meteorology
  • Experience of basic Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Team player and ability to work collaboratively across the organisation
  • Some experience in the soldering of electronics
  • Motorsport interest / experience
