Reventec Sensors Perform Under Motorsport’s Toughest Conditions at the 24 Hours of Le Mans
19th June 2026, Wiltshire, UK – Reventec Limited, a specialist manufacturer of high-performance vehicle sensors, has demonstrated the durability and reliability of its advanced sensing technologies at the 2026 Le Mans 24 Hours – one of motorsport’s most demanding endurance events.

Operating continuously over a full 24-hour race, Reventec sensors delivered consistent, high-precision data across critical vehicle systems under sustained high speed, vibration, and temperature extremes. Across the event, a single 5kHz sensor is capable of generating up to 432 million data points, contributing to a total of 1,488 cumulative car-hours of operation. With instrumentation across the 62-car lineup, billions of data points were captured throughout the weekend, demonstrating stable performance in real-world endurance conditions.
Reventec’s latest sensor solutions were deployed to monitor key components, including fuel level, oil level, throttle position, and suspension movement, providing engineers with accurate, real-time insight to optimise vehicle performance throughout the race.
Designed specifically for extreme environments, Reventec sensors maintain measurement integrity under rapid fluctuations in temperature, pressure, and vibration. Their solid-state construction and non-contact measurement principles eliminate mechanical wear points, ensuring long-term reliability where traditional sensing technologies may be susceptible to degradation.
“The Le Mans 24 Hours remains one of the ultimate proving grounds for any vehicle system,” said Neville Meech, Managing Director at Reventec. “To deliver uninterrupted performance in these conditions highlights the durability and quality of our sensor technology. Our focus has always been on providing customers with reliable, high-fidelity data when it matters most.”
Reventec’s sister brand, Sentronics®, also featured prominently across the grid at Le Mans, with its ultrasonic fuel flow technologies installed on all race cars. The FlowSonic® GT fuel flow meter, RigFlow pit tank sensor, and Sentronics® Connect data logger all played a key role in delivering accurate fuel measurement and data logging throughout the event, highlighting the strength of both brands in supporting high-performance motorsport at the highest level.
The performance demonstrated at Le Mans reflects Reventec’s broader capability to deliver sensing solutions for extreme environments across defence, automotive, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and industrial applications. Proven in motorsport, Reventec continues to apply its technology to next-generation vehicle platforms.
