LSM200

Developed for defence UAV applications that require continuous, real-time liquid level measurement, the LSM200 is a high precision sensor designed to last. Featuring hard anodised aluminium construction, the vibration tolerant device benefits from its strength and lightweight properties offering a powerful IP68 fuel and oil level sensor.

Reventec’s solid-state capacitive technology is insensitive to orientation allowing for convenient, easy access placement of the instrument within fuel and oil tanks. The integrated electronics are housed within the sensor head allowing for an extremely small footprint without the need for external CPU processing. Both the probe and electronics have a high operating temperature of -40°C to +125°C, with -55°C to +150°C temperature variants available.

The LSM200 is well-suited to all common automotive and UAV fuel and oil types including; Gasoline, AVGAS, JET-A, JP-4 and JP-8. All Reventec liquid level sensors are calibrated in the intended liquid type for optimum performance and advanced accuracies of up to ±0.5% of reading. Reventec fuel and oil liquid level sensors have been the sensor of choice for many UAV and airframe manufacturers, allowing uncrewed aerial system operators to fly their aircraft further for longer. All capacitive liquid level sensors in our LSM range have 2 bar differential tank pressure ratings with up to 10 bar pressure ratings available upon request.

For ultimate dependability this measurement device has no moving parts that may deteriorate from wear. The continuous 100Hz measurement rate enables UAV operators to monitor the status of their tanks in detail allowing platforms to benefit from mission-ready capability for quick deployment.

Accuracy Options

The LSM200 is available in two accuracy specifications:

• ±1% accuracy of reading
• ±0.5% accuracy of reading

The LSM200 can be adapted and customised to fit a range of connector types dependent on requirement including MIL-DTL-38999 connectors.
