Engineered as an ultra-rugged oil and fuel level sensor designed to withstand extreme temperatures, tolerate high vibration environments and benefit from shock resistance, the LSM600-HEAVY is ideal for measurement onboard ground vehicle platforms. Featuring a 6-bolt mounting configuration for a secure fitting and constructed from rugged hard anodised aluminium for longevity, the instrument is extremely robust and available in custom sizes up to 700mm.

The LSM600-HEAVY is a solid-state instrument with no moving parts that may suffer from mechanical wear over time or mechanical failure and therefore requires minimal maintenance. With a superior accuracy of ±0.5% of reading, the capacitive liquid level sensor is calibrated in the intended fluid type for precision and delivers continuous measurement so operators have real-time data for deeper analysis.

Boasting a wide temperature range of -55°C to +150°C, this heavy-duty oil and fuel level sensor is equipped to withstand rapid temperature changes. The integrated electronics are housed within the sensor head allowing for an extremely small footprint without the need for external CPU processing and can be calibrated to 0-5V analog, CAN or analog and CAN outputs. All capacitive liquid level sensors in our LSM range have 2 bar differential tank pressure ratings, with up to 10 bar pressure ratings available upon request, and are certified to MIL STD 461G and RCTA DO160F.

The LSM600-HEAVY is compatible with a large portfolio of defence land vehicles and is well-suited for military combat and engineering vehicles. Integrated perforated tube, the LSM600-HEAVY includes mechanical damping to maintain accuracy during dynamic operations.

The LSM600-HEAVY is supplied with an integrated 38999 connector for direct integration into the vehicle system.
