The Motorsport DRS Rear Wing Actuator Linear Position Sensor is a highly accurate, non‑contact linear measurement device designed specifically for Formula One Drag Reduction Systems (DRS). Featuring a 110 mm sensing range, it delivers continuous linear position 0-5V analog feedback essential for precise rear‑wing actuation at high speed. Built around Reventec’s advanced Quantum Tunnelling MagnetoResistive (TMR) technology, this solid‑state sensor ensures reliable, repeatable data acquisition under intense vibration, aerodynamic load and temperature variation. Leveraging superior field sensitivity, over 1000 times that of traditional Hall Effect sensors, the system provides exceptionally low‑noise, accurate output critical to DRS deployment and aerodynamic optimisation.

To support integration within Formula One chassis layouts, the sensor incorporates semi‑remote electronics housed separately, allowing engineers to position the electronics module away from confined or high‑temperature areas while maintaining precise measurement integrity.
