Quantum TMR 100° Arc Position Sensor (KU-010-02)

The 100° Arc Position Sensor features the latest Quantum TMR technology for solid-state, non-contacting, continuous position measurement. Developed for the industrial sector, the robust sensor is equipped to handle the demands of operating in harsh environments.

An integrated CPU located within the durable sensor housing creates an analogue voltage output for easy implementation into your project. Benefits of the sensor includes a reduction in operational downtime of machinery by providing real-time measurement of component movements.

The instrument has a programmable 0° to 100° sensing range where it detects the position of the supplied magnet target relative to the sensor. With no moving parts and a sealing rating of IP67, the sensor performs reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Boasting advanced accuracies of ±0.5% of reading, the sensor is capable of achieving measurements across up to 40mm air gaps from sensor to target and through up to 20mm of non-ferrous material such as aluminium or stainless steel. Delivered with a flying lead, the Arc Position Sensor offers easy installation and mounting.

Harnessing Reventec’s expertise in highly-customised, specialist projects, all of our sensors can be modified to your specifications through specific housing geometry and material, cable length and choice of connector.

Our Quantum TMR range offers powerful precision measurement of linear, angular and rotary component movement using Tunnelling MagnetoResistive (TMR) technology whilst leveraging quantum physics equations. Legacy technologies can’t achieve this level of accuracy or reliability and all of our sensors are factory-calibrated to a user’s specifications. We can supply a free GUI, should customers wish to re-programme their sensors in the field.
