Reventec’s Tracked Vehicle Suspension Arc Position Sensor is a robust and reliable solution for accurate suspension monitoring – an ideal tool for active ride height adjustment. Our sensors are at the forefront of vehicle data acquisition, allowing for precise system monitoring and control. Designed to withstand the most rigorous conditions, this sensor provides precise, real-time data on the arc position of a military vehicle’s suspension system. Its non-contact, Tunnelling MagnetoResistive (TMR) technology enables measurement across air gaps and through non-ferrous material, and is resistant to dirt, moisture, and vibration. With an ingress protection rating of IP69K and pressure rated to 15 bar, this sensor is designed for long-term durability.

The 80° arc sensor is built to last and comfortably performs across a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. Featuring a rapid 2kHz update rate for continuous movement measurement, the arc sensor features integrated CPU processing for a CAN 2.0A output and a ratiometric analog voltage VDC output between 0.25VDC – 4.75VDC.

Harnessing Reventec’s expertise in highly-customised, specialist projects, all of our sensors can be modified to your specifications through specific housing geometry and material, cable length and choice of connector.

 

Options include:

  • Range of connector interfaces available including; MIL-DTL 38999, autosport, subsea or flying lead.
  • Custom housing options to fit your application and offer analogue or CAN outputs without the need for external CPU processing.

Mil-Std EMC approvals for this sensor includes: MIL STD 461G Army Ground Limits: CS114, CS115, CS116, RE102, RS103, RS101, CE102, CS101, RTCA DO160F: Section 25 ESD Cat. A, DEF STAN 59-411 and DEF STAN 59-41.

Our Quantum TMR range offers powerful precision measurement of linear, angular and rotary component movement positioning through non-contact Tunnelling MagnetoResistive (TMR) technology whilst leveraging quantum physics equations. Legacy technologies can’t achieve this level of accuracy or reliability and all of our sensors are factory-calibrated to a user’s specifications. We can supply a free GUI, should customers wish to programme their sensors in the field.
